Which format should I choose? +
JPG is best for photos and works everywhere. PNG keeps sharp edges and transparency, which suits logos and screenshots. WebP usually gives the smallest files and is supported by all modern browsers.
What happens to transparency when converting to JPG? +
JPG cannot store transparency, so transparent areas are filled with white.
Is animated GIF supported? +
Only the first frame is converted. Animation is not kept.
Is there a limit on the number of files? +
No fixed limit. Everything runs on your device, so very large batches simply take longer.
